Passive volume control

I think that this project is really interesting. I designed relay board together with Peter Daniel from Audiosector. Driver PCB and software is my own.

This regulation has completely passive signal path – the ladder resistors are controlled by relays. Operating principle is similar to standard potentiometer – constant input and variable output impedance.

Main parameters:
- attenuation from -56.8 to 0dB
- completely passive signal path
- constant input impedance (adjustable: 10k, 20k, 50k, …)
- great display (used in Mark Levinson products)
- control type: infrared remote, buttons, encoders
- 6 input selector (additional mute output and on/off relay)
